The Social Justice Book Club meets on the first Sunday of the month at noon in
person in the Tot Green Room and on Zoom.  Selected books are discussed in depth
and are covered in multi-week workshops. We discuss fiction and nonfiction books with
a variety of topics related to social justice including racism, economic inequality, and
homelessness.

Our first Social Justice Book Club read in 2020: me and white supremacy: Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor by Layla F. Saad

Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote seven Principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides. Two that apply to our purpose of having the Social Justice Book Club are:

3rd Principle: Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations

4th Principle: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
