Sunday, July 7th at noon we will discuss Happiness Falls by Angie Kim. “We didn’t call the police right away.” Those are the first words of this extraordinary novel about a biracial Korean-American family in Virginia whose lives are upended when their beloved father and husband goes missing. Topics include nonverbal communication and prejudice against Asian Americans.

Saving Democracy by David Pepper, the June read, will be the topic of the July 14th Sunday Service being spearheaded by Carolina Dickinson.
