After the first portion of our worship service starts and the “Time For All Ages” themed-story is read, youth are encouraged to attend Religious Education (RE) in the Tot Building that is geared towards their age level.

The UUCiL Religious Education workers design and implement lifespan (RE) programs. They include Sunday classes and youth activities and focus on the UU values of compassion, justice, and generosity with the following goals in mind:

  • Experience moments of wonder and awe together;
  • Nurture open hearts, minds, and spirits;
  • Create safe spaces to ensure everyone’s well-being;
  • Welcome the diversity of the human family;
  • Create brave spaces in order to bring our whole selves and learn together;
  • Utilize and share the collective wealth of our Unitarian Universalist experience and perspective;
  • Instill a desire and a capacity to be agents of change in our world.
