Speaker: Travis MacPhee
Travis MacPhee (he/him) is an Interfaith chaplain in residency at John Muir Health. He was a Zen monastic practitioner for three years at Green Gulch and Tassajara, but left to pursue an expression of his beliefs and vows that was more engaged with the world, leading him to Starr King School for the Ministry, from where he received his master of divinity. He works in activism as a member of the board at JUUstice Washington, as a co-teacher of programs for adults with disabilities at Alegria Living Center, and spent the last year as a student chaplain at Mt. Diablo UU Church, where he continued his chaplaincy and justice work supporting individuals living unhoused.
