Volunteer

Whatever your role in Unitarian Universalist Church in Livermore (UUCiL), we are we are so grateful that you have chosen to be with us! However, if you want to get more involved and make connections with others, we have many opportunities available. Depending on your level of responsibility and time commitment, you can decide which of these opportunities would be right for you to pursue!

The Building and Grounds Committee is responsible for the maintenance of our church campus. The duties vary and include getting bids from contractors, fixing irrigation, and repairing aging buildings. The Committee is in need of people who know a trade or have specialized skills, and are available during the week days. If you are interested, please email us here.

While we are currently fully staffed, we could use more volunteer childcare helpers who can step in as needed. Volunteers must be willing to pass a background check and have a live fingerprint scan. If you are interested, please email us here.

The Membership Committee is responsible for planning events to welcome new members and promoting the church to attract prospective members. Some examples include working at a booth at the Livermore Pride Fest, hosting a new-member dinner, and organizing monthly concerts. If you have new ideas, are good at marketing, or are enthusiastic about the church, please email us here.
