For many years, generous members of our congregation have contributed to an Endowment Fund. The Fund was established by the congregation to support the Church long term, and fund special projects to enhance the mission of UUCiL. In recent years, the Fund has contributed to the new shade structure, the playground fence, a bike rack, social justice causes, and made money available for members to attend GA and other UU assemblies.
The Endowment Fund Committee is calling for proposals for a distribution in the next fiscal year. By Policy, approximately two-thirds of the annual distribution goes to enhance the physical plant of UUCiL ($6,000), and one-third goes to the wider mission of Unitarian Universalism ($3,000). Proposals should be submitted to the Committee (Hank O’Brien, Kim Rowe, and Craig Seppala) by January 31st, 2026. We are excited to collect all your ideas, and make a recommendation to the UUCiL Board, for approval. The recommendation goes before the congregation for final approval at the annual meeting in May.
Questions, comments, or ideas, please contact me, Hank, or Craig.
