Thank You and Please Continue to Donate

During the past months, thanks to all of you who have placed donations in the bins in the back of the sanctuary, jackets, shoes, raingear, hats, sweaters, jeans, gloves, sweatpants, socks, a sleeping bag and two blankets were given to our unhoused neighbors. Because of your generosity they were better able to keep warm and dry during this exceptionally cold and stormy winter. Because of your generosity canned fish, peanut butter, soup, protein bars, canned fruit, pasta, rice and beans were delivered to the food pantry and distributed to many families living in cars and on the streets.

Please continue to go through your closets for clothing, shoes, light weight jackets, jeans, pants, tops, etc. that are no longer being used. They should be clean, seasonally and population appropriate. No high heels, bathing suits, fancy dresses etc.

Please continue to bring a can, jar or bag of food to church on Sunday. Remember we cannot accept perishable food and items passed the expiration or best used date.

Our neighbors’ “thank you responses” are heartfelt. Feel the gratitude.
