Volunteer with Kids Against Hunger

Interested in volunteering & making a real difference in the lives of others?

Join your UUCiL friends on Wednesday, April 29th from 2 – 3:30 PM at Kids Against Hunger (KAH) in Pleasanton. KAH is a nonprofit humanitarian food aid organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of undernourished children in the United States and around the world. As a volunteer you will be part of an assembly line preparing bags of rice and soy.

Some folks will be measuring ingredients, some will weigh bags, some will seal bags and some will put food bags into large boxes for delivery to needy areas.

A minimum of 15 people is required for this activity. In addition to your time all volunteers are also required to donate $20.

If you would like to be part of this team, please let Kathy Seppala know by April 18th via email or text.
