The Unitarian Universalist Church in Livermore is available to be rented for small events! We are a welcoming community providing a tranquil space for weddings, memorials, bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, Islamic and Hindu celebrations, birthday parties, community events, recitals, meetings and workshops. We are conveniently located less than a mile from 580, off of the North Vasco Road exit, in north Livermore, California in Alameda County. We would be delighted to work with you to accommodate your needs!

Venue Details

Our rental facilities include the Sanctuary, Tot Green assembly room, kitchen, and gazebo.

The Sanctuary is about 1,200 sq. ft. and has chairs for 153 people. It has a baby grand piano and excellent audio-visual equipment–perfect for intimate concerts and recording any events.

Our Tot Green assembly room is approximately 864 sq. ft. It can fit 123 people with lecture-style seating and 57 people with tables and chairs.

Additionally, we have a kitchen connected to the Sanctuary that has been recently updated. It has a refrigerator, 4-burner electric stove, dual sinks, and plenty of counter space.

Our gazebo is near our assembly room and can be reached by traversing along the covered walkway. It has benches, and a table and chairs. It can comfortably seat 12 people.

We also have two separate bathroom facilities with two stalls, including one disabled stall in each, near the Tot Green Room. The bathrooms can be reached by a covered walkway.

UUCiL’s paved parking lot can accommodate 60 cars, including 3 marked for disabled parking, and an additional 10 cars can fit in the unpaved lot.

In cases where space is rented for a longer term, whoever is renting the space must provide proof of insurance that covers UUCiL for all liability in an amount determined by the UUCiL insurance carrier.
