We take a lifespan and “whole church” approach to faith development, where the congregation and our covenantal relationships help provide the curriculum. Unitarian Universalist children learn about our seven Principles, but in simpler terms.

The Childcare employees collaborate to design and implement lifespan religious education (RE) programs for the children. Through RE, our children learn about themselves and their community, experience rituals, develop spiritual practices, and learn about diverse spiritual traditions.

We invite children to begin their time with us on Sundays by joining adults for the first portion of our worship service. We have coloring materials and fidget toys available in the sanctuary for children and youth to use during their time in worship. We then have a weekly “Time For All Ages” that features a story or activity related to our worship theme of the week. After that, children and youth are encouraged to attend their own RE in our Tot Green Building across the way.

We also offer childcare for infants and toddlers from 10:15 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday mornings.
