Often we think of the Easter “Resurrection” as literally bringing Jesus back to life after he died. But there is evidence that the early followers of Jesus experienced it as a demonstration that even the immense power of the Roman Empire could not defeat the power of the loving community that surrounded Jesus. We will explore that evidence and its relevance to us in our time.
