Amy Lighter is an attorney by trade with a lifelong interest in social justice. She currently practices immigration law, but was formerly a public defender and adjunct professor in Tennessee. Depending on the day, she might define herself as a working mom, musician, teacher, travel nut who has visited all 50 states, or philosophy major with insatiable curiosity and a penchant for overcommitment.
