Speaker: Rev. Heather Hammer
Rev. Heather is a retired United Methodist minister, writer, and former high school teacher. She lives in Livermore, where her husband works at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She has two adult children in the Bay Area and enjoys reading, swimming, and music. She will share about her time in Scotland and writing her book, “Shetland Mist” as it relates to finding resiliency in nature.
Faith communities are drawing from ancient traditions to find universal strength in the natural world. Celtic practices that predate Christianity continue to nourish the soul and celebrate creation.
