Mark your calendar for Saturday January 31. We will start at 6:00 pm, with desserts (sweets and fruit) and the silent auction. The live auction will start at 6:30. This is our most fun filled and successful fundraiser of the year!

If you are new to this event, here is how it works and how you can take part. Think about your special talents, gifts, energies and willingness to lead others or be a host. Consider inviting 4 or 6 or 8 or 10 folks over to your home for a special meal, a tea party, game night, or anything else you would like to host. Consider teaching a craft, a game. Help another with a computer, gardening, cleaning a garage. Think about pet sitting, leading a hike, teaching a sport. What about the Timeshare you cannot use this year? Be creative and don’t be shy. This will be your offering and the number of persons or tasks that you will involve and the dates will be up to you. The auction committee will take all offerings and complete a booklet which will be made available online and at the auction and lists all the offerings that will be bid on. For more ideas, you are welcome to peruse last year’s program. The silent auction is an opportunity to raise funds by writing your bid on a sheet of paper for donated items such as salad bowl or set of glasses, the toaster now replaced with an air fryer, toys and games that children have outgrown, the garden planter, a pickle ball racket which seemed a good idea at the time, the pretty candle set, the necklace that never gets worn. Bring the items to the church, and place them in our Silent Auction Collection Box inside the entrance of the sanctuary on the left as you walk in.

Come for the fun, come for the desserts, come to bid on something, and most of all come for the fellowship. There is never any pressure to bid or buy, but in case you do, bring a check or cash.
